Run Today Club

Join the club for fun on run. Running is a method of terrestrial locomotion allowing
humans and other animals to move rapidly on foot. Running is a type of gait
characterized by an aerial phase in which all feet are above the ground (though
there are exceptions). This is in contrast to walking, where one foot is always
in contact with the ground, the legs are kept mostly straight and the center of
gravity vaults over the stance leg or legs.

Race

Racing for the first time?

A race is a grouping of humans based on shared physical or social qualities
into categories generally viewed as distinct by society.

Training

Training is teaching, or developing in oneself or others, any skills and
knowledge or fitness that relate to specific useful competencies. Training
has specific goals of improving one's capability, capacity, productivity and
performance. It forms the core of apprenticeships and provides the backbone of
content at institutes of technology (also known as technical colleges or polytechnics).

Exercise


Exercise is any bodily activity that enhances or maintains physical
fitness and overall health and wellness.
It is performed for various reasons, to aid growth and improve strength,
preventing aging, developing muscles and the cardiovascular system, honing
athletic skills, weight loss or maintenance, improving health and also for enjoyment.

Marathon

The marathon is a long-distance race with an official distance of 42.195 kilometres
(26 miles 385 yards), usually run as a road race. The event was instituted in commemoration
of the fabled run of the Greek soldier Pheidippides, a messenger from the Battle of Marathon
to Athens, who reported the victory
